Alan Marsden ADI and Proprietor
The first member of the JDM team and the founder of the company.
Alan began instructing in 1992 and founded JDM in 1993. Alan lives in Norton Lees, S8, and has covered all areas from Chesterfield to Chapeltown. Nowadays, Alan tends to concentrate on all areas from Gleadless Valley to Dore. IE: S14, S8 and S17. | |

Ken Fenton ADI
Ken lives in Oughtibridge, S35, and has almost a decade of experience behind him.
He covers most of the north and western parts of the City as well as all areas from Stocksbridge to the City Centre. incl S5, S6, S35, S36, S4, S3, S10, S11

Steve Wolstenholme ADI
Steve lives in Stannington, S6, and has been with JDM for half a decade. We are his first driving school.
He covers most of the western areas of Sheffield including Crookes, Ecclesall, Dore and the City Centre.

Chevonne Ellis ADI
Our longest serving female instructor. Chevonne took over from Tracy, our first female. Chevonne lives in Norton Lees and covers much of South Sheffield from Totley, S17, to Norfolk Park, S2, incl S7, S8, S14, and the City Centre.
We are her first driving school
We therefore have 2 fully qualified lady instructors covering opposite ends of the city...
Elisabeth Holmes ADI
Elisabeth had been an instructor for well over a year when she joined JDM in January, 2010. She lives in Grenoside and covers all parts of S5, S6 and S9 as well as High Green, Ecclesfield, Chapeltown and Western Rotherham (Thorpe Hesley, Kimberworth, Brinsworth | |

Tony Lomas ADI
Tony lives in the Charnock part of Gleadless. When he joined us, he was still part qualified and Tony is the last TRAINEE we have ever offered a contract to. Now fully qualified, Tony has continued to improve and become an excellent recruit with several years behind him. He covers many areas from Dronfield, S18 to Pitsmoor, S4 incl S12, S7, S8, S13, S14, S17, S18.
Ian Priest ADI
Ian was known to the Proprietor since 1976 before either of them could drive, let alone be driving instructors. Both lived completely seperate lives until Ian told a mutual friend that he was considering becoming an instructor and this friend laid the foundations for a reunion with Alan. Ian joined JDM after qualifying and a short period with another driving school. He lives in the Jaunty area of Gleadless, S12, and covers many areas of eastern Sheffield such as S13, S20, S8, S10, S11, S17, S18, S14 | |

Mark Jordan ADI
Mark joined us soon after qualifying and has been a very willing worker.
He lives in the Hurlfield area of Gleadless and covers a vast area from Fulwood, S10, to Eckington, S21 incl S8, S11, S12, S13, S14, S17, S18, S20.
Like most of our team, Mark has had several years with us, attended all our retraining events and continues to be a willing partner on the success of JDM
Lol Gyte ADI
Although one of JDM's newest recruits, Lol has 20 years of experience as an instructor. He has worked for both of this country's largest driving schools and has worked for many years for himself. However he ws persuaded to merge his talents where they will be appreciated and joined JDM .
He lives near Mosborough, S20, and covers most of Eastern Sheffield including Hackenthorpe and Aston. Incl S21, S18, S13, S9, S12, S2, S8

 Join Us: Like most driving schools, including the largest corperate brands in the UK, JDM operates a Franchise system to Self Employed Driving Instructors.
The ADI's pay a weekly fee which is fully inclusive of car and cleint costs.
JDM are not actively recruiting, but we will always try to find a place for fully qualified ADI's with good reputations and friendly manners.

If you are not happy
If you are not completely satisfied with the attitude or style of your JDM instructor, please contact the proprietor as soon as possible. We will initially arrange to cancel your lessons with the first instructor and provide you with someone else. We will then follow up your complaint and try to learn from any mistakes or misunderstandings.
